Austenitic Steel Castings from Pacific Alloy Casting Co., Los Angeles, CA

Specification for Austenitic Steel Castings ASTM A-351

This specification covers austenitic steel castings that are used for valves, flanges, fittings, and other pressure-containing parts.

Austenitic steel castings come in a variety of grades with varying degrees of suitability at high temperatures or in corrosive environments. The high alloy content renders it the most corrosion resistant among the stainless group. These properties are attained from the high chrome content, 16 to 26%, and nickel content as high as 35%.

Grade selection will depend on the casting design, service conditions, and operating temperature of the application.

If your company needs Austenitic Steel castings, call Pacific Alloy Casting Co. at 562-928-1387 or email sales@pacificalloy.com for a prompt quote.
