Cement Mixer Liners

Mixer liners made of Ni-Hard last longer than any material currently available. Other types of liners made of AR steel or hard faced overlay steel, do not wear as long as Ni-Hard. Ni-Hard will out wear AR steel by a factor of 5 to 8 times. Hard faced overlay is a surface coating and is not as hard or as abrasion resistant as Ni-Hard even on the overlay surface. Once the coating has started to wear away, the inner softer core and the base mild steel will wear rapidly.

Ni-Hard is more resistant to wear from the first day of operation and it retains its full hardness and wear resistance through the full thickness of the liner.
